Priscilla Ritchie Lofton
May 10, 1930 - March 1, 2006
Priscilla Ritchie Lofton, the daughter of Clayton Walker and Laura Justus Walker, was born May 10, 1930 in Rabbit Trap Community in Stilwell.
On March 1, 2006, she went home to be with her Lord at the age of 75 years, nine months and 19 days.
Priscilla and her husband, Eli, Co-owned and operated the family business known as Ritchie’s Grocery Store. She found pride in her family, being a homemaker and being a granny. She was an active member of Bidding Creek Baptist Church during her early Christian life where her membership resides.
Priscilla was an accomplished quilter and seamstress. She enjoyed collecting antiques and antique pins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Eli Ritchie; three sisters, Edna Sheppard, Eunice Graves, Lois Tannhauser and three brothers, Beulan Walker, Eulis Walker and Junior Walker.
She leaves to mourn a loving family including her husband, Bill Lofton, of the home, two sons, Jack Ritchie and wife, Peggy, Randy Ritchie and wife, Tammy; one daughter, Beverly Starr and husband, Lyle, all of Stilwell; one step son, Jim Lofton and wife, Loretta, of Stilwell; two step daughters, Nancy Jordan and husband, Charles, of Westville, Rebecca Fourkiller and husband, Thomas, of Stilwell; two sisters, Irene Keller, of Peoria, IL., Icy Lee LeMaster, of Bartonville, IL; a special niece, Sharon Treib, of Stilwell; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one on the way. Numerous other family members and friends also survive her.
Services were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. George C. Bowling and Bro. Mack Crittenden officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
