Richard Lester Loar, son of Joey Darnell Loar and Ester (Orley) Loar, was born on April 14, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed from this life on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 9 months and 26 days.
Richard worked for Facet Industries as a production manager. His time on this earth was too short and he will be missed.
Preceding Richard in death are his mother: Ester Raines and grandson: J.D. Hughes.
Surviving him is his wife of 20 years: Diana Loar of Royal, Arkansas, stepsons: Damon Miles (Michelle) of Hot Springs, AR, David Miles (Paula) of Little Rock, AR, Nathan Miles (Allison) of Cabot, AR, grandchildren: Jeffery Miles, Hailey Miles, Emily Miles, Carra Miles, Greyson Miles, Austin Cobb, Savanna King, great grandson: Joel Miles, father: J.D. Loar (Diane) of Louisiana, brothers: Joe Loar of Tulsa, OK, David Loar of Hot Springs, AR, nephews: Zan Loar of Hot Springs, AR, Matthew Loar in the U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan, special friends: Dick and Sherry Belanger of Hot Springs, AR.
A private service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2011 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
