Georgia Allen Liermann, daughter of George and Edith Amanda (Underwood) Herd, was born October 10, 1925 in Tangier, Ok and departed this life to be with our Lord on January 24, 2017 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 91 years, 3 months and 14 days.
Georgia had a great love for children and it showed in the many lives she touched while teaching for many years. After retirement she enjoyed being a member of the local HCE group, Eastern Star and the Adair County Historical Society. She had many hobbies some to include quilting, embroidery, ceramics, canning, gardening and loved collecting antiques. She loved reading her bible, teaching Sunday school and going to First Baptist Church while her health permitted. She also enjoyed traveling, Sunday drives with Bill, genealogy and cooking family dinners for all who could attend.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Ernest Warren Allen Sr., second Husband; Bill O’ Neal, son-in-law; Bill Ross, daughter-in-law; Rita Allen and siblings; Verda, Alice, Estella, Cecil, Tommy, Dan and Dale.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Bill Liermann of the home, 4 children; Barbara Ross of Stilwell, Linda Watts and husband James of Cache, Ernest Allen Jr., of Stilwell, Karen Collyge and husband Jeff of Westville, grandchildren; Saundra Cooksey and husband Brian, Jason Ross and Fiance Courtney Bode, Dale Watts and wife Barbi, Renee Salmon and husband Blake, Adam Allen and wife Jenny, Amanda Yate and husband Rob, Nathan Limore and wife Nikki, Natalie Yeager and husband Clay. 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, stepchildren; Andy Liermann, Sam Liermann, Jenni White, Jo Lynn Wagers, Melodi Breinig, several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 27, 2017 Roberts/Reed- Culver Chapel
with Brother Ron Lacaze officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City
Cemetery Stilwell.
