Mary Juanita (Kester) Jones

Mary Juanita Jones, daughter of William Isaac and Bessie (Yarbrough) Kester was born on July 12, 1920 on Kester Mountain in the Bell Community of Adair County, Oklahoma.
She departed this life to be with her Lord on September 18, 2006 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 5 days.
She married Leonard Jones on March 25, 1938 and to this union they were blessed with 4 sons: Vonnie, Herman, Dewey and Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leonard in 2004, brothers: Floyd, Cline, Jewel and Lonnie Kester. Sisters: Edgel Moss, Cecil Abbott, Effie Buckner and one infant sister: Faye Kester, 2 great grandchildren: Heather Edwards and Kaleb Hopkins, and 1 daughter-in-law: Peggy Jo Jones.
Juanita is survived by a very loving family that includes 4 sons: Vonnie Jones and wife Shirley, Herman Jones, Dewey Jones and wife JoAnn, and Morris Jones and wife Kaye all of Stilwell. 1 brother: Clarence Kester and wife JoAnn of Stilwell, 1 sister: Clara Wilson of Hampstead, MD, 12 grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 22, 2006 with Bro. Jimmy Jones, and Bro. Floyd Kester, Jr. officiating.
Interment followed in the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
