Jimmie Dell Hopkins
August 8, 1935 - October 28, 2006
Jimmie Dell Hopkins, Stilwell and Tahlequah businessman, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was born August 8, 1935 in Pickens, Oklahma to Charles J. and Edith Lena Hopkins.
Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, his sisters, Marcella O'Neal and Gertrude Moon, and his nephew Steven Hopkins.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue vanderheiden Hopkins, daughter and son-in-law Kimberlee Van and Charles W. Wilson, son and daughter-in-law Jimmy Lance and Chelsea Hopkins, all of the Tahlequah area.
He leaves behind two brothers, Charles Hopkins and family of Arkansas City, KS and Wayne Hopkins and family of Jenks, OK, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell with Bro. Joe White officiating.
interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
