Clealus Marie Holt was born December 10, 1921, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, to Wilburn Emerson Rutherford and Pearl Maggline (Cowan) Rutherford. She passed from this life on August 16, 2012, at her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years, eight months and six days.

Clealus was married to Lester Price Holt in Stilwell on April 24, 1937, and their union was blessed with one daughter, Carolyn. Clealus spent her years as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Her greatest joys were vacationing with her grandkids, cooking, sewing and making ceramics. She was of the Holiness faith.

Those preceding her in death include, her parents, her husband of 54 years, Lester Holt, sister, Charlotte Eubanks, four brothers, Paul, J.C., Walter and Wilburn Rutherford and two great-great grandchildren, Presley Charles and Kylee Fain.

She leaves behind a loving family which includes, her daughter, Carolyn Dillard and husband, Harold, of Stilwell; brother, Wallace Rutherford, of Pea Ridge, AR; sister, Thelma Harper, of Stilwell; three granddaughters, Cathy Unger and husband, Ed, Donna Ledford, all of Stilwell, Lisa Bradford and Tom Charles, of Tahlequah, eight great grandchildren, Kelley O’Neal, Brandon Dillard, Holly Vanderheiden, Tina Fain, Brittany Crittenden, Kyla Unger, Tommy Bradford and Cassie Bradford and three great-great grandchildren, Tayven Unger, Attysen Fain and Chloe Vanderheiden.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012, at Stilwell City Cemetery with Bro. Glenn Hopkins officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to the care of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
