Leroy Holloway
February 25, 1923 - March 9, 2007
Leroy Vernon Holloway, the son of Charles M. Holloway and Minnie E. Alfred, was born February 25, 1923 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
He passed away on March 9, 2007 in Vian, Oklahoma at the age of 84.
Leroy worked for Dumont Aviation Association in aircraft manufacturing until his retirement. He was a member of Sequoyah Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lois Virginia Witt in 1984; his second wife, Ruby in 2001; one brother, John Holloway; one sister, Thelma Brockman.
He leaves to mourn his son, Charles Holloway and wife, Suzanne, of Sallisaw, OK; daughter, Elizabeth Murray, of Portsmouth, NH and one grandson, Justin Kyle Means.
Services were held Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Leroy Reid officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
