Beda Mae Hollis, 84, died Sunday, July 30. She was born August 10, 1932 to Murril and Bedie Phelps in Malvern, Arkansas. She attended Southwestern Bible College in Waxahachie, Texas and worked as an accountant most her life. She played the organ and piano for church many years. She lived many years in Oklahoma City and moved to Hutchinson, Kansas in 1994. Her later years, she lived in Texas 2004 to 2017.
Beda was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Cliff Phelps, sister, Vivian Ellison and husband, Bill Hollis.
She is survived by her three children, Donald L. Collins and wife Carol, Ronald G. Collins and wife Joyce and Bonnie K. Fricke and husband David, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday,August 12, 2017 at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell with Bro. Clifton Phelps officiating. Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday August 11, 2017.
