Lena Lorene
Hill the daughter of Benton and Ellen (Essary) Sisco was born May 4, 1931 in
Stilwell, Oklahoma. She departed this life on May 13, 2019 in Stilwell,
Oklahoma at the age of 88 years and 9 days. Prior to her passing, our Mother
was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on
Mother’s Day.
She enjoyed listening to old- time gospel music, working puzzles and traveling. She enjoyed talking and sharing stories of her life and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harvey H Hill; her sisters Pauline Phillips, Dorothy Brady, Lucille Glenn-Taylor and Imogene Eitle; her brother Wayne Sisco; daughter Karen Ann Christie and great-granddaughter Briana “Brei” Scraper.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Eugene Sisco of Stilwell, Rita Scraper of Stilwell, Judy Cobler and husband Allen of Peggs, Brenda Williams and husband John of Buchanan Dam, TX and Faith Hill of Stilwell; and her brother Afton Sisco and wife Mary Louise of Hindsville, AR. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Richard Gardner officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
