Margie Dean King Doyle was born August 3, 1938, in Coweta, Oklahoma to Leonard and Pauline (Owens) Butler. She passed away April 20, 2010, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 71.
Margie was a life long resident of the Stilwell area. On November 26, 1954, Margie married Deverl King and their union was blessed with four children, Jimmy, Kenneth, James and Connie. Upon his passing, Margie then married Burl Doyle on August 3, 1991 in Stilwell.
Margie was a homemaker and enjoyed her role as wife, mother and grandmother.
Her hobbies included knitting and sewing.
Margie was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Burl Doyle, of the home in Stilwell; her children, Jimmy Claude King, of Stilwell, Kenneth and Terri King, of Muskogee, James and Carla King, of Bend, OR, Connie and Bodie Fatherree, of Dry Creek; stepson, Carl Bottoms; eleven grandchildren, Rhonda and David Wolf, of Westville, T.J. and Valarie Olive, of Dry Creek, Cord King, of Conway, MO, Jimmy Lee and Mandy King, of Washington, Branden and Brandi King, of Coweta, Nicole King and Hailey King, of Bend, OR, Leonard King, Tabitha and Chris Rich, Wilson and Melanie Hitcher, all of Stilwell, Michael and Crista Olive, of Marble City, 15 great grandchildren and numerous family, friends and loved ones.
Services were held 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Pastor Neal Dillard officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
