Ruby Lorene
(Worley) Deweese was born on August 5, 1931 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Gus
Elmer Worley and Cynthia Elizabeth (Johnson) Worley and passed away on June
6, 2021 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 1 day.
Ruby loved
painting, enjoyed art and making quilts. She loved her family and was
devoted to them. She never met a stranger and everyone was family to
Ruby.

She is preceded
in death by her parents: Gus and Cynthia Worley, husband: Gillis Wayne
Deweese, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Ruby is survived
by children: Leah Cheryl and husband Larry Strauss of Stilwell, Oklahoma,
Gillis Rylen and wife Connie Deweese of Lake Kiowa, Texas, and Rhonda and
husband Charles Kester of Stilwell, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Amanda and
Patrick Stone of Bixby, Oklahoma, Andrea Strauss of Bixby, Oklahoma, Jay and
Mandi Kester of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Leah and Ryan Cobb of Lake Kiowa,
Texas. Great grandchildren: Adria Brooke Kester, Kayleigh Paige Kester,
Tessa Danielle Kester all of Park Hill, Oklahoma, Sawyer Van Stone of Bixby,
Oklahoma, and Grayson James Cobb of Lake Kiowa, Texas.
Precious
memories: Gillis Matthew Kester, and Keaton Graham Turnbow.

Funeral
services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Victory Southern
Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Don Varble officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK under the
direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
