Lolamae DeSpain, daughter of William Marcellus and Lura Eunice (Oliver) Wilson, was born on July 20, 1927 in Canyon, Texas and departed this life on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 90 years of age.
Lolamae worked as a nurse to help support her family. She worked for years at Stilwell Memorial Hospital. Lolamae had a beautiful smile and laugh. She loved time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Lolamae will be remembered fondly by all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Lura Wilson, husband: Billy DeSpain, sister: Marcene Hildebrant, brothers: John Wilson, Robert Wilson and William Wilson.
Those remaining behind to keep her memory include her children: Billy DeSpain of Stilwell, Tommy DeSpain of Hayward, Calif., Dorothy DeSpain of Hayward, Calif., grandchildren: Chris DeSpain and wife Charlene of Pottsboro, Texas, Cody DeSpain of Huntsville, Ark., Steven DeSpain and wife Erin of Jenks, Robert DeSpain and wife Christine of Los Angeles, Dustyn DeSpain and wife Courtney of Moore, Tenara DeSpain of Mountain View, Calif., brother: Tommy Wilson of Houston, great-grandchildren: Noah DeSpain of Glenpool, Jackson DeSpain of Moore, Timley DeSpain of Jenks, Parker and Payton DeSpain of Pottsboro, Texas, along with many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, December 29, 2017 at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, with Bro. Jason Ritchie officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed- Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
