Barney Allen Davis, the son of Charles Davis and Johnnie Lahoma Butler Davis, was born December 8, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 13, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 4 months and 5 days.
Barney was married to Melissa Colston on December 28, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Stilwell. He enjoyed drawing, playing video games, walking and looking for arrowheads on Davis Mountain. Barney also loved hunting and fishing. He was especially loved by his two Chihuahuas, Buster and Silver, who were his constant companions.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Johnny Wayne Davis.
He leaves behind, his wife Melissa Davis of the home; 5 sisters, Georgia A. McReynolds, Ivon Morton, Linda A. Rozell, Billye P. Ray and Debra F. Hooper; son Daniel Rozell; daughter Elizabeth Rozell; stepchildren C.J. Noblin, Vincent Hernandez and Joseph Linville; three grandchildren, Leon, Devin and Jack Noblin. Many nieces, nephews and other friends and loved ones also survive him.
Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2019 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Johnny Flute officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
