Edna Lorene Craig
April 13, 1925 - June 18, 2006
Edna Lorene Craig, the daughter of Otis Pipkin and Ella Mae (Martin) Pipkin, was born April 13, 1925 in Widner, Arkansas and departed this life June 18, 2006 at her home in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, two months and five days.
On September 13, 1940, Edna was married to Fred Emmit Craig in Widner, Arkansas and to their union was born 15 children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred, in 1985; three sons, Thomas Allen Craig, Floyd Craig and Otis Craig; one daughter, Freddie Darlene Craig; two brothers, James Pipkin and Andrew Pipkin and one sister, Lilly May Neal.
Surviving family members include her children, James Craig and wife, Joanna, of Bloomer, AR, Georgia Ann Whitehead and husband, Randy, of Magazine, AR, Judy Dress and husband, Dennis of Stilwell, OK, Patsy Tabor and husband, Pete, of Elkins, AR, Sarah Young, of Westville, OK, Fred Craig Jr., of Westville, OK, Alvie Craig and wife, Eva of Fort Smith, AR, Billy Craig and wife, Kim of Stilwell, OK, Terry Craig and wife, Teresa of Laurel, MS, Donnie Craig, of Westville, OK, Robert Craig, of California, MO.; 48 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren and a host of friends and loved ones.
Services were held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Billy Craig officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
