Daniel Edward Charles, son of Marion Wilsey and Maudie Evelyn (Young) Charles, was born into this world on December 22, 1960 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age 49 years, 9 months and 27 days.
Daniel liked working in his yard and going junk hunting with his friend, Jim. He enjoyed sitting outside at night, fishing and taking pictures. He loved his family and playing with his grandson. In July of 2000, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior at a Vacation Bible School meeting. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Marion Wilsey and Maudie Evelyn (Young) Charles, grandparents: Raymond and Orpha Ruth Young, uncles: Charley, Vernon and Wilbur Young, cousin: Billy Young, aunts: June Baker and Birdie Eads, niece: Presley Charles.
Surviving Daniel is a loving family that includes his daughters: Alisha Wolfe and companion Ivan Solis of Stilwell, OK, Kyla Charles of Texas, grandson: Peyton Solis, sister: Deborah Cox of Watts, OK, brother: Thomas Charles of Tahlequah, OK, nephew: Noah Cox of Watts, OK, companion: Judy Britt of Stilwell, OK. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Graveside committal was held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Stilwell City Cemetery with Dennis Brown officiating. Inurnment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
