Carney Alfred Caughman
February 27, 1920 - January 17, 2007
Carney Alfred Caughman, son of Issac and Grace (Diffee) Caughman, was born February 27, 1920 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and departed this life January 17, 2007 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 10 days.
On December 23, 1938, Caney and Emogene Walters were united in marriage in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack and J.E. Caughman and one sister, Opal Nolte.
Surviving family includes his wife of 68 years, Emogene Caughman, of the home; one sister, Sue Sark, of Tulsa; seven children, Jeanette McGee and husband, Arnold, of Tahlequah, Terry Scott and husband, Bill, of Stilwell, Dale Caughman and wife, Bobbie, of Stilwell, Dean Caughman and wife, Jan, of Sallisaw, Carnella Harris and husband, Dick, of Houston, TX, Carney Caughman, Jr. and wife Martha, of Stilwell and DeLana Caughman, of Tahlequah, 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many more family and friends.
Services were held Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Udell Denny and Rev. John Miller officiating.
Interment followed at the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Emogene Caughman
December 23, 1920 - July 23, 2009
Emogene Caughman was born December 23, 1920, in Vian, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Liston) Walters. She passed away July 23, 2009, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 88 years and seven months.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Udell Denny officiating. Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
