Casey Carter, son of Connie B.
Carter and Delores A. (Green) Carter, was born on September 15, 1981 in
Muskogee, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Friday, January 22, 2021 in
Stilwell, Oklahoma at 39 years of age.
He grew up in the Hungry Mountain Community and graduated from Cave
Springs High School in 2001. He received his certification as a Heavy
Equipment Operator in 2003. He had many jobs including glass work and tree
trimming.
Casey never married, but had 2 special friends: Rose Lewis and Melody
Van Gough.
His favorite activity was playing the guitar. He played in several
informal groups and repaired guitars.
Casey is survived by his mother, Delores Carter, of the home, his
brother: Clay Carter and wife Celia, niece: Allison Carter and nephew:
Christopher Carter, all of Russellville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father: Connie Carter, paternal
grandparents: Bee and Lucille Carter of Park Hill, OK, maternal grandparents:
Floyd and Dela Green of Eldon, OK.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at
Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Teresa Latta officiating.
Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
