Mark Alan Bowen, son of Lillion B. (Jackson) Bowen, was born on May 2, 1967 in Webb City, Missouri and departed this life at home surrounded by his loved ones and friends on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 51 years of age.

Mark was blessed to have a job that he loved and enjoyed the 15 years that he spent as a teacher's assistant at Stilwell Public Schools. He cherished the time that he was able to spend with his kids and granddaughter, Sloan Grace.

Mark had many likes and hobbies. He liked watching the OSU Cowboys, listening to music and the radio, watching superhero movies and "Friends". Mark could fix anything and enjoyed woodworking. He was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hunting, fishing and hiking. He was of the Christian Faith and a member of the NRA.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents: Lillion Bowen and Vern March, brother: JR Fain and niece: Erin Fain.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife: Julie (Hand) Bowen of the home in Stilwell, OK, daughters: Summer Paden and husband Steven of Claremore, OK, McKinzie Bowen and companion Rowdy Lewis of Tahlequah, OK, sons: Billy Bowen of Stilwell, Mark Bowen, Jr. of Oregon, granddaughter: Sloan Grace Paden of Claremore, siblings:Diana Campanelli and husband Lucky of Oregon, Jeanie Chamberlin and husband Ronnie of Chelsea, OK, Rick Fain and wife Pernie of Stilwell, Lory Morgan Bowen of Oregon, father-in-law: Billy Hand of Ponca City, OK, brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry Hand and wife Vickie of Stilwell, Rhonda Johnson and husband R.L. of Louisiana, Allan Hand and wife Debra of Iowa, Ronnie Massingale of Wisconsin, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stilwell City Cemetery. Memorial services were held Thursday January 10, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Services were entrusted to Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
