Delores Bearpaw
June 8, 1942 - December 25, 2005

Funeral services for Delores Bearpaw were held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Roger Haney officiating. Burial followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Delores Bearpaw, the daughter of Ed Walkingstick and Wynona Sam Walkingstick, was born June 8, 1942 in Tahlequah. She ended her struggle with cancer at home on December 25, 2005 at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 27 days.

Known as “Dee Dee” by family and friends. Dee was employed at Mrs. Smith’s when she became disabled.

Dee Dee was a Christian and had attended both Honey Hill Free Holiness Church and First Baptist Church in Stilwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Dee Dee raised and is survived by four children: three sons, Mike and wife, Reggie Gregory of Tulsa, Jon and wife Noreen Gregory of Stilwell, Larry and wife, Missy Gregory of Gentry and one daughter, Michelle and husband Chris Golden of Stilwell. She also had five grandchildren, Rylan and wife Kara Gregory, Jobi Gregory, Darrell and “Rosie” Gregory and Kelsey Duncan.

Dee Dee was the third of five children. She is survived by one brother, Doug and wife, Carolyn Walkingstick of Stilwell and three Sisters, Jackie and husband Bill Rials of Reno, Nevada, Jean Croley, Tracy and husband Kenny Sims of Stilwell. She had a large extended family and many friends, who helped her when she needed them.
