Billie Lois Auffet the daughter of Fred Austin Sr. and Lillie (Covington) Catron was born January 2, 1930 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 5, 2019 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 9 months and 3 days.
Billie enjoyed life and she loved serving the Lord. She was very involved with the youth groups in the Rushville, Sallisaw and Stilwell Christian Churches. She taught several of the youth how to sew, and they made pillowcase dresses to send overseas. She enjoyed the orchard and she showed off her cooking skills by baking apple and peach dumplings which they sold out of the barn. She was very artistic and took upholstery and painting classes. She was asked to speak at several horticulture meetings. Billie touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands Fred Leonard Auffet and Charles B. Crozier; her son Roger Leonard Auffet; and her brothers Vesper LeRoy Catron, Fred Austin Catron Jr., Dale Catron and Bob Catron.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Deborah Munn of Tulsa and Jerry Dale Auffet of Pawhuska; her daughter-in-law Shirley Yvonne Auffet of Highland, Mo.; and her grandchildren Michael Collin, Jared Damon, Mindy Diane, Nigel Monique, Joshua Leonard and Natasha Sue. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church with Pastor Eldon Wilson and Jeff Catron officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
