Doyle Theodore Asbill
February 4, 1935 - March 10, 2007
Doyle Theodore Asbill son of Ellis B. and Tootsie Mae (Payne) Asbill was born February 4, 1935 in Bunch, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 10, 2007 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 72 yeas, 1 month, and 6 days.
He married Margaret Sue Patterson on July 5, 1952 and to this union 2 children were born: Teddy Dole and Annetta.
Doyle enjoyed the duties that followed his role as a very loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family.
Dole worked as a service attendant at Loyd Brewer's Service Station for several years. Doyle and Sue then moved to the Greasy Community, at that time Doyle was hired as a bus driver at Greasy Elementary School, he drove for approximately 3 years. After leaving the Greasy School system he cut cordwood and saw milled with the Good Ole Boys. He then drove a road grader and dump truck for the Adair County Commissioner District #1 for 3 years. In the fall of 1970 he began driving the school bus for the Cave Springs School system at which he retired after 29 years of service.
Doyles hobbies were hunting, fishing and telling stories.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of 54 years; Sue Asbill of the home, 1 son; Teddy Doyle Asbill and wife Twonnia; 1 daughter; Annetta Scott and husband Tim, 3 grandchildren; Tedi Jean Elms and husband Josh, Tiffany Turner and husband, Bryan, and Derick Scott, 3 great grandchildren; Tanner Doyle Elms, Sydney Mae Turner, and Shyloah Faith Turner, his mother; Toots Asbill all of the Greasy Community, 1 brother; Floyd Asbill of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
Pallbears; Derick Scott, Josh Elms, Bryan Turner, Mike Kimble, Gordon Phillips, Darrell Stilwell, Jennings Girdner and George Bill Kimble.
Honorary Pallbearers; Darrell Hardbarger, Jerry Asbill, Junior Kimble, Gerald Ellis, Jeff Benham and Stanley Rodenbeck.
Flowergirls; Tiffany Turner, Sydney Turner, Tedi Jean Elms, Connie Asbill, Joann Taylor, Adriane Farr, Jewell Kimble, Teri Dawn Thomas and Teressia Miller.
