Standard Sentinel - January 17, 1918
Willie Allen, aged 18 years, died at his mother's home Tuesday night at 10 o'clock after a sickness of several weeks from typhoid fever.
He was an industrious well loved young lad and a great help and comfort to his widowed mother.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist Church by Rev. C. W. Haskins Wednesday afternoon and interment followed at New Hope (now Stilwell City) Cemetery.
