Jerry Michael Ahart, son of O.E. Jack Ahart and Golda Maxine (Mooney) Ahart, was born on September 11, 1942 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and passed from this life on Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 18 days.
Jerry graduated from Stilwell High School and will be remembered fondly by many friends and classmates. Although he endured much during his life, he always overcame and lived a full life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents: Jack and Golda Ahart.
Surviving Jerry is his sister: Sherry Simpson of Glenpool, OK, nieces: Angela Raleigh and husband Chris of Claremore, OK, Andrea Medley and husband Mike of Verdigris, OK, great nieces and nephews: Cara Arneecher and husband Wes of Catoosa, OK, Adam Raleigh of Claremore, Matthew Medley and Melissa Medley of Verdigris, aunt: Nadine Carlile and husband Bob of Stilwell. He is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Charles Hummingbird officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
