Funeral services for Taylor Padgett, 92, of Stilwell, will be held Tuesday, April 16, at 2 p.m. at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. Audie Vaughn officiating.
Burial will be in the Spade Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
He was born on March 14, 1904, in Stilwell, Indian Territory to James Padgett and Eliza Sixkiller Padgett. He died Friday, April 12 at Memorial Hospital.
He was married to Stella Orman on February 7, 1925 in Stilwell. She preceded him in death on August 14, 1987.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Faye Elizabeth Padgett; one son, Johnny Robert Padgett; his parents; seven brothers, Willie, Oscar, Jess, Luke, Robert, Jake, and Perry Padgett; three sisters, Moriah Padgett, Lucy Charles, and Annie Means.
He was a retired Free Holiness minister.
He is survived by four daughters, Louise Deason and Katherine Rutledge, both of Stilwell; Wanda Henderson of Wagoner; and Mavis Meridith of Mannford, Oklahoma; three sons, Raymond Padgett of Siloam Springs, Ark.; James Padgett of Gracemont, Oklahoma; and Jack Padgett of Siloam Springs, Ark.; one brother, Ephriam Padgett of Stilwell; thirty grandchildren; fifty-seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and other friends and relatives.
