Leroy Canoe, son of Adam and Jennie (Pettit) Canoe,
was born on January 20, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma
and departed this life on Thursday, February 15,
2018 in Tahlequah at 66 years of age.
Leroy worked at Greenleaf Nursery for 14years and at
Tyson Industries to help support his family through
the years. He served his country in the Marines and
he attended the Indian Methodist Church in Stilwell
for as long as he was able. Leroy enjoyed watching
TV with his son, Jay. He liked comedies, wrestling,
OU football, OKC Thunder and Nascar (Jeff Gordon was
his favorite driver). Leroy liked fishing and
hanging out with family and friends. He loved
spending time with his grandchildren and loved
playing ball with his granddaughter Sugar!
Interment followed at
South Bunch Cemetery, Bunch.
