Rex Everett Sidebottom, 50 of Kansas, Okla. passed away May 21, 2013 at the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.
Rex was born October 3, 1962 in Stilwell, Okla.; he was the son of JW and Elsie Sidebottom. He was a self-employed truck driver. Rex married Nanette Sands on June 4, 1994 at the Illinois River Baptist Church in Chewey, Okla. Rex enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family gatherings, the outdoors and fishing, and antiques and flea markets.
Survivors Include: Wife Nanette Sidebottom of the Home; Children Mandi Lyn Pack, Stilwell, Okla., Jaron Keith Sidebottom, Westville, Okla., Jordan Lee Sidebottom and Alexis Jordan Fitts, both of the home; 5 grandchildren, Corbin Sidebottom, Miah Rayne Sidebottom, Colton Dale Wrey, Bandy Cash Lane and Allivia Kaelene Mae; mother Elsie Sidebottom-Adams, Stilwell, 2 sisters, Reva Jean Graham and Ruby Workman & husband Roger all of Stilwell; 6 Brothers, Roger Sidebottom & wife Diane, Stilwell, Robert Sidebottom & wife Patricia, Uniontown, Ark., Ralph Sidebottom & wife GaNyn , Welling, Okla., Ron Sidebottom & wife Julie, Farmington, Ark., Rick Sidebottom & Todd Sidebottom, both of Stilwell. Rex is also survived by numerous family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father JW, step father TJ Adams, a sister Reda Faye Fimple, a brother Roy Dale Sidebottom and a granddaughter Delylah Ledawn Sidebottom.
The service was held at the Illinois River Baptist Church in Chewey, Okla. on May 25, 2013 officiated by Pastor James Wilkerson, Rev. Wayne “Booley” Forrest and Rev. Richard “Duke” Pickup. Burial was held at the Sands Cemetery in Chewey, under the direction of Backstrom – Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
