Dave Matthew Cummings, son of Lou Jean Cummings and Leroy Thomas was born January 31, 1974 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on December 11, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 40 years, 10 months and 11 days.
He was a very loving son, nephew to his family. He was a registered nurse and enjoyed taking care of people in difficult times. Dave was a very fun loving guy who always enjoyed a great laugh with friends.
Dave was preceded in death by one infant daughter; Kaylee Cummings and one uncle Carl Cummings.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his son, Jacob Cummings, mother Lou Jean Cummings both of Westville, OK, 2 uncles, Will Cummings of Owasso, OK, George Cummings and wife Ella Marie of Jay, OK. 3 aunts; Marth Mae Cummings of Oklahoma City, OK, Polly Ann Spradlin of Moore, OK, Mary Rose Bird of Westville, OK, several other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 under direction of Roberts and Hart Funeral Home. Officiating was Rev. James Wilkerson. Music by Illinois River Church Singers. Pallbearers were: Wilmond LeFlore, Richard Bird, Patrick Cummings, Colton Wilkerson, Carl Coon.
Interment at Sands Cemetery, Chewey, Oklahoma
