Corena Wolfe, daughter of Charlie and Maggie (Sam) Cochran was born April 8, 1941 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord on June 11, 2011 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 3 days.
She worked as a teacher's aide at Greasy School for 30 years. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She loved to go camping, attend gospel singings and most of all spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of Belfonte Baptist church while her health permitted.
Corena was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son; Ron Chewey, Brothers; Price Cochran, George Cochran and Martin Cochran, 1 sister; Mary Ann McHargue.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Adam Wolfe, 1 daughter; Michelle Wolfe both of the home in Stilwell, OK, 3 sons; Mouse Chewey and wife Angela, Johnny Cochran and wife Marilyn both of Stilwell, OK, Michael Chewey of Big Spring, TX, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. 3 brothers; Tom Cochran and wife Emma, Jerry Wayne Cochran and wife Nita, Sanders Cochran and wife Irene, 1 sister; Pat Doublehead and husband Adam all of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church, Stilwell with Bro. Tom Cochran and Bro. Gil Hooper officiating.
Interment followed at Salem Cemetery.
