Felicia Dawn Watie, the daughter of Rufus Watie and Carolene Watie Sevenstar, was born on July 28, 1985 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The Lord called her home on May 12, 2015 at the age of 29 years.
Felicia was of the Baptist faith and was baptized at Emmanuel Church. She had a deep love for all her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, Rufus Watie, her grandmother, Genora Cochran, her grandfather, Alex Cochran and her aunt, Amalene Cochran.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her mother, Carolene Watie Sevenstar and stepfather, Bobbie Sevenstar, of the home in Stilwell; three brothers, Stand Watie, Curtis Watie and Waylon Watie, all of Stilwell; sister, Amalene Watie Harjo and husband Ramsey Harjo, of Stilwell; nieces and nephews, Kaciera Watie, Shyley Watie, Ramsey Watie, Justin Watie, Shanae Harjo, Kalvin Harjo, Dakota Watie and Damian Watie; great nieces and nephews, whom she adored, Kaiden Watie, Kataya Watie, Aiden Watie, Jaelyn Watie, Wyatt Watie and two unborn babies; aunts, Mary Scott and husband Jerry Scott, Sally Terrapin and husband, Thomas, Susie Nofire and husband, Chester and Margie Cochran, all of Stilwell; uncles, Jeff Cochran, Willard Cochran, Monroe Cochran and Johnny Cochran, all of Stilwell.
Felicia loved all her family and she will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Salem Baptist Church with Lawrence Eagle and D.J. McCarter officiating.
Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
