B. B. Livers, son of Isaac and Alice (Cochran) Livers, was born on September 3, 1946 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 74 years of age.

BB was a strong, hardworking man and provider.  He worked as a heavy machine operator for Adair County District 1 for over 25 years.  It’s  been said several times to his family that BB was one of the best road grader operators around.  Most days after work he would be found in his garage working on vehicles.  He was a trusted mechanic to many people.  His family has many fond memories of stories, laughs, joking and carrying on with all those who came by to visit and lend him a helping hand.

When BB’s health permitted some of his hobbies included, car races, hunting & fishing with his brothers and pitching horseshoes.  Another favorite pasttime for him was watching all his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews playing ball games.  He also enjoyed gospel singings, sitting around visiting, and backroad drives.  BB was very strong in his faith and was a long time member of Salem Baptist Church, and upon moving several years back became a member at Mulberry Tree Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years: Thelma (England) Livers, parents: Isaac and Alice Livers, brother: Jimmie Ray Livers, daughter: Charlene England, grandson: Thomas England and granddaughter: Melanie England, sisters-in-law: Pauline Livers and Darlene Livers.

He leaves behind a loving family, that includes his children: Benny “Sonny” Grigsby (wife Kendra), John Grigsby, Carolyn Leach (husband Albert), Lester Crittenden (wife Tammy) all of Stilwell, Ok, brothers: George Livers, Johnny Ray Livers (wife Linda), and Felix Livers (wife Johnnie) all of Stilwell, Richard Livers (wife Shawnee) of Vian, OK, sister: Lizzie Johnson (husband Donald) of Stilwell, special nephew: Robert Livers of Stilwell, whom BB raised as his son.

He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as many relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Gary Flynn officiating.

Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
