Funeral Record
Cynthia Mary (Young) Jones was born on December 5, 1924 in Cherokee County OK., to William Young, born in Braggs, OK, I.T. and Mary (Waters) Young, born in Braggs I.T.
She died on November 3, 1955 at 8:00 p.m. age 29, at Talihina Indian Hospital in Talihina, Oklahoma. Cause of death was Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
She was buried at the Salem Cemetery, Adair County Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 8, 1955 at 2:30 p.m. Clergyman was Bro. Joe Feathers and Bud Lacie.
Her husband Paul Jones gave information, and paid for funeral.
OBITUARY
Funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia Mary Jones, 29 years old, who died November 3, 1955 was held Tuesday, November 8, 1955 at the Salem Church. Rev. Joe Feathers and Bud Lacie officiated at the service. Internment was in the Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was born December 1924 in Cherokee County, OK., to William Young and Mary (Waters) Young. She married Paul Jones on July 1, 1944.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Young, paternal grandparents, Tom Young and Cynthia (Starr) Young, two brothers; an Infant and Tom Young, two sisters: Ruby Lee Young, and Wilma Young.
She is survived by her husband Paul Murl Jones, two daughters: Nadine Jones and Georgia Lee Jones, and one son: Leroy Jones all of the home. Her mother: Mary (Waters) Young, two brothers: Joe Young and Robert Young, three sisters: Viola Young, Margaret Louise Young and Juanita Young. A host of friends, loved ones, and other relatives.
