James "Rusty" Gann, son of John and Lizzie (Sawney) Gann, was born on March 4, 1963 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years.
Rusty loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and finding arrowheads. He loved his family and friends and cherished every moment spent with them and visiting with them. When everyone was together Rusty would build a fire, sit around it and visit with everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Lizzie Gann, brothers: Joe Gann, Ben Gann and Mark Gann.
Rusty leaves behind a loving and caring family that includes his wife: Sonya Gann of the home in Schulter, stepchildren: Benjamin Waters and wife Nicki of Pleasant Valley, Mirandia Jahn and Tim Frazier of the home, grandchildren: Kayleigh Frazier, Bella Waters, Benjamin Waters, Jr., Hayleigh Frazier and Zayleigh Frazier, brother: Bob Gann of Stilwell, sisters: LaDonna Glenn of Stilwell, Peggy Gann of Stockton, Calif., nieces and nephews: Lonnie Affleck and Eric Affleck of Stockton, Heather Chee of Eureka Springs, Ark., Breezy Gann and Stormy Gann.
He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 29, 2016 at Salem Cemetery, Salem, Oklahoma with Brother Sam Nakedhead officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
