Edith Feathers, daughter of Thomas and Josie (Cochran) Nakedhead, was born on May 28, 1912 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life to be with her Lord on Monday, October 24, 2011 in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of 99 years, 4 months and 27 days.
Edith was blessed with a long life, a loving family and a multitude of friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Thomas and Josie Nakedhead, husband: Hooley Feathers, Sr., brothers: Rufus and Clint Nakedhead, sisters: Louella Cummings and Louise Hatfield.
Surviving Edith is her son: Hooley Feathers, Jr. and wife Linda of Lebanon, MO, grandchildren: Monica Schoenhals and husband Kevin of Oklahoma City, OK, Terrance Feathers and wife Jackie of Pittsburg, KS, step children: Robert Ray and wife Crystal of Lebanon, MO, Terri Givler and husband Troy of Springfield, MO, Michelle Henson and husband Michael of Carol Stream, IL, Kevin Nicholson of Lebanon, MO, 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 am on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church with Sam Nakedhead officiating.Interment followed at Salem Cemetery.
