Roger Duncan, son of Flynn and Lydia (Eli) Duncan, was born March 20, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 11, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.
He was a loving father. Roger was a great dad, DaDa “Grandfather” and Great- Grandfather. He worked hard to provide for his family. Roger was well known and liked in the community.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents: Flynn and Lydia Eli, brothers: Clyde Duncan, John Duncan, sister: Fayola Flute, daughter: Loretta Duncan Earnest.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife: Marietta Duncan of the home in Stilwell, OK, children: Tony Duncan and wife Kay, Carney Duncan and wife Kim, Ronnie Duncan and wife Ruby, Roger Duncan, Jr., grandchildren: Celia Brown and husband Matt, Toni Workman and husband Andrew, all of Stilwell, Katie Dorsey and husband Christian of Gentry, AR, Schon Duncan, Shandi Duncan, Shaydee Duncan, Shapan Duncan, Shace Duncan, Kevin Earnest, Nick Earnest, Kasandra Earnest, Ayden Earnest, Maranda Duncan, Tenkia Duncan, Titus Duncan, India Duncan, Shakota Cutnose, Sunny Duncan, Malachi Duncan, Trinity Duncan, all of Stilwell, 5 great grandchildren, brother: Tom Duncan, sisters: Ann Tarin and husband Thomas, Florence Sanders.
Roger is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Elm Grove Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Eugene Kester officiating.
Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, Ok under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell,OK.
