Louella Duncan, daughter of Clint and Polly (Sawney) Duncan was born March 24, 1941 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on June 30, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 6 days.
She was a very loving mother and grandmother to her family. She loved to cook for her family and they loved her beans and frybread. Louella also enjoyed canning food. Her favorite saying was "You Knuckle". She worked at Zion School for many years and loved attending all Zion School functions especially ballgames. Louella was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Louella was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; Robert Springwater, sister; Nancy Soap, and great grandson; Wyatt Sawney.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Georgia Ann Thurber and Loyd, Brenda Duncan, Randy Duncan and wife Mary Ann, Andy Duncan, Marlene Teehee and husband Albert, Jackie Duncan, Mandy Watie and husband Sundown, Betty Galcatcher and husband Joe, Vanessa Sawney and husband J.D. all of Stilwell, OK, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. 5 siblings; Ora Owl, Nellie Sam, Clarence Duncan and wife Daisy, Winnie Chuculate, Bobby Joe Duncan all of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Gary Flynn, Bro. Rob Matlack and Bro. Steve Campbell officiating. Interment at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
