Bobby Joe “Jip” Duncan, son of Clint and Polly (Sawney) Duncan, was born on January 9, 1949 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 71 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Duncan, parents: Clint and Polly Duncan, siblings: Robert Springwater, Nancy Soap, Louella Duncan, Ora Owl and Nellie Sam, and one grandson: Littlefoot Wolf.
Jip married Linda Wolf on September 16, 1977 and they were blessed with 2 children: Kenny & Carla.
He was a hard worker. He worked as a chicken catcher for many years and a line worker at Schwan’s to help support his family.
He was a faithful member at Piney Creek Baptist Church where he was a song leader while his health permitted. He loved to talk to people about his Savior, Jesus Christ and attending revivals and singings. Jip loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was known to hold the cruise nights and car shows in Adair County with his car club The Cherokee Travelers and held benefits to help others. He was always making people laugh and smile.
We will always love and miss you Jip.
A loving and devoted family survives him. They include his children: Kenith Duncan and wife Verlita of Tahlequah, OK, Carla Wolf and husband Tommy Sanders of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren: Athan Duncan, Dylan Wolf, Kendall Wolf, Nikiah Cummingdeer and Jakkie Sevier, great grandchildren: Koda, Tranton, Joda Wolf and Janie Sevier, siblings: Clarence Duncan and wife Daisy, Winnie Chuculate, Betty Lou Galcatcher and husband Joe, all of Stilwell, OK.
Bobby will also be remembered by all of his friends and extended family, including his best friend: Albert Teehee.
