Tom A. Cochran was born on January 30, 1947 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Charlie and Maggie (Sam) Cochran and passed from this life to be with our Lord on Friday, February 7, 2014 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years.
Tom was a warm and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He gave his life to the Lord and pastored at Belfonte from March 14, 2007 until February 7, 2014. Tom would give the shirt off his back to help those in need. He had a wonderful smile and happy demeanor. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have been a part of his life.
Preceding Tom in death were his parents: Charlie and Maggie Cochran, brothers: George, Price and Martin Cochran and sisters: Mary Ann McHargue and Corena Wolfe.
He is survived by his wife: Emma (Still) Cochran, sons: Vince Cochran and wife Dana, Greg Cochran, daughters: Tammy Crittenden and husband Lester, Rhonda Presley and husband Chris, all of Stilwell, 9 grandchildren: Jennifer, Heather, Nathaniel, Jeremy, Tyler, Claire, Mcrae, Conner, Hailey, 6 great grandchildren: Jolie, Cole, Cade, Avin, Zaylon, William, brothers: Jerry Cochran and wife Nita, Sanders Cochran and wife Irene, Johnny Cochran and wife Marilyn, sisters: Pat Doublehead and husband Adam, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and a multitude of friends.
Funeral services at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at New Life Church, Stilwell, OK with Levi Eagle, Elvin Still and George Polecat officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, OK under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
