Funeral services for Robert Wayne Pritchett, age 35, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Lawrence Eagle and Brother Jim Tom Pritchett presiding.
Interment will follow services at Rock Fence Cemetery, with Brother Steve Campbell presiding at the graveside. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
Robert Wayne Pritchett went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 15, 2009, at Stilwell Memorial Hospital. He was 35 years old.
Robert was born on October 19, 1973, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Nellie (Daugherty) Green, and was raised by adoptive parents Reverend Willie “Sonny” Pritchett and Shirley J. Bird of Stilwell. After the passing of his adoptive parents, Robert resided with his birthmother and stepfather Charles Green.
Robert loved attending Gospel singings, listening to his radio, going to church and singing praises to the Lord with the church choir.
He was a HUGE fan of Elvis: He collected Elvis memorabilia and had a collection of his music. He also enjoyed working at Peoples, Inc, until his illness kept him from working any longer. Robert was a member of Four Visions Baptist Church and attended faithfully.
Robert was preceded in death by adoptive parents Reverend Willie “Sonny” Pritchett and Shirley Bird; one brother, Darren Ray Daugherty; and grandmothers Nancy Pritchett and Polly Green, all of Stilwell.
He is survived by parents Charles and Nellie Green; four brothers, Steven Daugherty, Tommy Green, Damon Green and Daniel Green, all of Stilwell; three sisters, Leslie Smith, Loretta Doublehead and Sarah Pritchett, also of Stilwell; eight nephews; eight nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles and friends.
