Patsy Gann Beason, the daughter of Looney Gann and Daisy (Killer) Gann, was born October 10, 1945, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She went home with the Lord on March 27, 2014, surrounded by loved ones, at her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 17 days.
Patsy lived an abundant life and was always vibrant and full of energy. In her earlier years she enjoyed being a cook at Maryetta School.
Her greatest joy was fulfilled and shown in her family. After the passing of her husband, Jack Beason, she continued on with their daughters, Rhonda and Laquetta. And throughout her years she was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, to whom she gave her never ending love and devotion. She treated them all as her own, teaching them all they needed to know to make it in this life; from cooking, cleaning, having fun, how to be a friend and mostly how to be a family and to love each other, just as she loved all of them.
She also gave her time to her companion, Morris Vaughan, of 23 years. Patsy was loved deeply by her family and friends and she gave back her love generously. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and will be especially missed by all her family to whom she devoted her life and love.
Those preceding her in death include, her husband, Jack Beason, her parents, Looney and Daisy Gann, brothers, George, Frank and Littlejohn Gann and an infant granddaughter, Kasey Jo Brown.
She leaves behind the family she was blessed with which includes, two daughters, Rhonda and husband, Mike Walker, of Stilwell, Laquetta and husband, Terry Stanley, of Muskogee; companion, Morris Vaughan, of Stilwell; grandsons, Michael Bear Walker, Rodney Brown and Curtis “Joe”Beason, granddaughters, Alisha “Liz” Beason and Penny Brown, great granddaughters, Trinity, Maci and Kenzie Brown, Cayle Donley, Allie Dart and Shayleigh Beason.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Dry officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Fence Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
