Jacob Henry Sawney
Jacob Henry Sawney the son of Nick and Dorothy (Sawney) Springwater was born
October 26, 1947, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on December
23, 2021, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 27 days.
Henry enjoyed the outdoors whether he was
hunting, fishing, or just working around the yard. He enjoyed spending time
with family and friends, especially visiting with Butch and Jerry. He
enjoyed working in the shop and taking care of his animals, especially
feeding the deer. He enjoyed watching OU play ball and he loved the St.
Louis Cardinals. Henry touched many lives over the years and will be dearly
missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
2 brothers, 2 sisters, his niece Kimmy, his nephew Kyle, and a very special
Uncle Jack Sawney.
Left to mourn his passing is Glenda, who
was the love of his life; his brothers Rick and wife Sonya, John and wife
Alice, Levi and wife Betsy and Stephen (Huey) all of Stilwell and Dennis and
wife Linda of Park Hill; his sisters Roberta Gibson of Okmulgee and Polly
Teehee and husband Amos of Claremore; two very special cousins Talauna
(Lonnie) and partner Donnie and Juanita and spouse Mike; lifelong friends
Butch Ogden and Jerry Means; as well as his beloved pets. A host of nieces,
nephews, and friends also survive him
Graveside Service was held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Reese
Cemetery under the direction of Roberts-Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
