Jack Bradford, son of Thomas Jefferson and Nellie Valentine (Thornton) Bradford was born December 19, 1933 in Proctor, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on February 5, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 17 days.
He enjoyed the duties that followed his role of a being a very loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He was a member of the Tahlequah Nazarene Church. Some of Jack’s hobbies included carpentry, fishing and he loved woodworking. He made several things for his family that will be cherished for many years to come.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 58 years; Darlene Bradford of the home in Tahlequah, Ok, 3 children; Rickey “Rick” Bradford and wife Jennifer of Abuja, Nigeria; Connie Bradford Friesen and husband Dwight of Kilgore, TX, Karen Bradford Moseley and husband Don of Oklahoma City, OK, 7 grandchildren; Stephanie Bradford Kuhlmann and husband Zak, Jeremy Bradford, Leslie Parker and husband Brent, Lindsey Farnham and husband Rob, Joe Moseley, Shawna Schrock and husband Robert, Tim Moseley and wife Kristina, 9 great grandchildren; Brian, Brinly, Caleb, Hallie, Claire, Kyle, Christian, Patricia, Brendon. 2 great great grandchildren, 2 siblings; Wesley Bradford and wife Pansy of Cookson, OK, Eugene Thornton and wife Anna Lee of Arkansas City, KS, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives as well as many friends.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel in Stilwell, Oklahoma with Rev. Jason Powers and Rev. Don Nichols officiating.Interment in Reese Cemetery under the direction Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
