Elva Amanda (Kindle) Yeager
June 7, 1914 - September 21, 2006
Elva Amanda Yeager, daughter of Elsworth and Jemima Floy (McCollum) Kindle was born June 7, 1914 in Proctor, OK and departed this life on September 21, 2006 in Westville, OK at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 14 days.
She married Arrel A. Yeager on September 11, 1932 in Christie, OK and to this union 3 children were born, Delbert, Gloria Jo and Larry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Arrel Yeager, 1 son; Delbert Yeager, 3 brothers; Noel Kindle, George Kindle, and Herbert Kindle, 2 sisters; Autherine Richards and Edna Smith, 2 grandsons; Wesley Allen Yeager and Larry Nathaniel Yeager, and 1 great-great granddaughter, Cynthia Lynn Reed.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes 1 daughter; Gloria Guthrie and husband Donvil, 1 son; Larry Yeager, 1 daughter-in-law, Eula Yeager, 3 sisters, June Collins and husband Archie, Jean Edwards and husband Cliff, and Mildred. 1 sister-in-law Lela Kindle, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren, several other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 25, 2006 in the Proctor Community Church with Bro. Terry Guthrie and Bro. Jeff Wilcher, officiating.
Interment followed in the Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
