Dannie Dwayne Curry, son of Billy William and Elsie Viola (Drumheller) Curry was born May 1, 1958 in Springdale, Arkansas and departed this life on September 22, 2010 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years, 4 months and 21 days.
Dannie was a member of Proctor Community Church. He loved to fish, play and watch any kind of sports and most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Billy and Elsie Curry, siblings; Michael Ray Curry and Mary Curry and 2 nephews; Jonny and Ronny Curry.
Dannie is survived by a very loving family that includes 6 brothers; John Curry of Stilwell, Ok, Paul Curry and wife Brenda of Hulbert, Ok, James Curry and wife Jodie of Missouri, David Curry and Wife Sandy of Stilwell, Ok, and their children; Melissa Metcalf of Farmington, Ar, David Allen Curry of Westville, Ok, Daniel Curry of Wagoner, Ok, Dannie’s twin brother; Donnie Curry of Westville, Ok, Ocie Curry of Stilwell, Ok and his son Ocie Curry Jr. of Keys, Ok, , 5 sisters; Billie Wolfe and husband Dewayne of Arkansas, Marie Ross of Stillwater, Ok, Martha Chavez and Jose, of Stilwell, Ok and her daughter; Jamie Akins of Tennessee, Edith Brown and husband Dewayne of Stilwell, Ok, Ruby Crawford of Pennsylvania. Special friend; Darrell Cates and Joan Stocksdale of Christie, Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held, Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Proctor Cemetery with Bro. Larry Kindle officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
