Terri, Mema (Betty Arlene) Crittenden, daughter of William Burton and Mattie Lee (Walker) Wilming, was born on December 1, 1930 in Atchison, Kansas and departed this life to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Rogers, Arkansas at 79 years of age.
The Lord blessed Terri with a wonderful and full life. She married Raymond Lee Crittenden on December 31, 1963 and their home quickly filled up with the laughter and joy of 9 children. Terri in turn blessed those around her with a warm and welcoming home, good food and fellowship. She kept herself surrounded by those she loved: her family and friends. She was faithful to the Lord and his teachings. Terri’s warm smile and presence will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Mattie Wilming, and her step father: Bernard Haid. sister: Anna Pearl Gallegos, two grandsons: Anthony Wayne Faddis and Eric Michael Crittenden
Her survivors include her husband of 46 years: Raymond Lee Crittenden of the home in Westville, OK, children: James Edward Crittenden and wife Patricia of Siloam Springs, AR, Michael Allen Crittenden and Hermina of Siloam Springs, AR, Ray Burton Crittenden and wife Mary of Westville, OK, Terry Ann Davis and husband James Scott of Spencer, TN, Sandra Lee Copeland of Ft. Gibson, OK, Deene Sue Kiddy and husband Ellis Ray of Westville, OK, Martha Gay Alverson and husband Troy of Siloam Springs, AR, Margaret Kay Shewmaker and Jay Garrison of Westville, Ok, Kaye Patricia Henry and husband Steve of Siloam Springs, AR, 40 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and two brothers: her twin , Billy Burton Haid of Siloam Springs, AR, Thomas Eugene Wilming of Monterey, CA. She is also survived by many foster children numerous other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Westville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bro. Navil Vaughan officiating. Those serving as pallbearers are: Bobby Crittenden, Stephen Crittenden, Geronimo Crittenden, Skylar Crittenden, Mike Kiddy and Cory Shewmaker.Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Raymond Lee Crittenden son of Walter and Gladys Marie (Kindle) Crittenden was born March 1, 1938 in Proctor, OK and departed this life on April 27, 2016 in Tahlequah, Ok at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 26 days.
He was a very loving father, grandfather and brother to his family. He worked as a machinist for several years at Franklin Electric. He enjoyed hunting but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Westville, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Betty "Terri" Crittenden, parents, brothers, Austin, Calvin, Melvin "Joe" Crittenden, daughter; Sandy Copeland, sister; Ruby Cary, two grandsons; Anthony Wayne Faddis and Eric Michael Crittenden.
Raymond is survived by a very loving family that includes his children; James Edward Crittenden and wife Patricia Ann, Michael Allen Crittenden and wife Herminia all of Siloam Springs, AR, Ray Burton Crittenden and wife Mary of Westville, OK, Terry Ann Davis and husband Scott of Spencer, TN, Deene Sue Kiddy and husband Ellis, Margaret Kay Shewmaker all of Westville, OK, Martha Alverson and husband Troy, Kaye Patricia Henry and husband Steve all of Siloam Springs, AR, 42 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. brothers; Herman Jay Crittenden, Donald Crittenden both of Westville, OK, Bob Crittenden of Rock Island, TN, sisters; Roxie Green of Westville, OK, Opal Raimond and husband Bill of Coweta, OK, Sue Patton and husband Leonard of Westville, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 at Pentecostal Holiness Church, Westville, Oklahoma with Rev. Navil Vaughan officiating.
Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery, Proctor, Oklahoma under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home.
