Ruby Faye Cary, daughter of Walter and Gladys Marie (Kindle) Crittenden was born December 5, 1929 in Adair County, OK and departed this life on May 30, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 25 days.Ruby enjoyed the duties of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blackwell. She enjoyed her Women's Missionary Group, gardening, fishing, garage sales, but most of all loved spending time with her family and was extremely proud of her great grandkids. She was also a die hard OU fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Douglas Cary, 3 brothers; Austin Crittenden, Calvin Crittenden and Joe Crittenden.
Ruby is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Jim Cary and wife Dianne of Bartlesville, OK, Glenda Griffith and husband Bill of Pryor, OK, Paula Ingmire of Ponca City, OK, 3 grandchildren; Karen Murphy and husband Patrick of Bartlesville, OK, Don Cary and wife Shelly of Copan, OK, Cynthia Cary and Fiance' Jake Williamson of Norfolk, VA, great grandchildren; Stephen Consedine and wife Sydney, Cassie Consedine and Fiance' Osei Asante, Kayla Cary, Jamie Leeson, Rachel Cary, Erin Cary, great great grandchildren; Piper and Scout is on the way. Four brothers; Raymond Crittenden, Jay Crittenden and wife Ina Jo, Don Crittenden and wife Sue, Bob Crittenden and wife Kathy, sisters; Roxie Green, Opal Raimond and husband Bill, Sue Patton and husband Leonard, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Proctor Community Church, Proctor, OK with Rev. Clifton Loman officiating.
Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK
