Mack Leon "Joe" Spencer
September 14, 1935-January 17, 2008
Mack Leon "Joe" Spencer son of James Voyle and Ester (Keller) Spencer was born September 14, 1935 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on January 17, 2008 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 3 days.
He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother; Earl Spencer Jr.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his 1 brother; Bob Spencer and wife Galeatha of Stilwell, OK, 3 sisters; Shirley Maxine Davis of Bristow, OK, Clorene Lathrop and husband John of Ft. Gibson, OK, Earlene Nevitt of Stilwell, OK, his wife; Dorothy Spencer, 2 sons; Danny Joe Childers and wife Pam, Russell Childers all of Jenks, OK, 1 daughter; Michelle Spencer. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Four Corners Church of Christ with Leon Brashears and Rick Ritter officiating.
Interment followed in the Piney Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
