Delbert Clen Smith

Delbert Clen Smith was born to Robert Smith and Edna Louella (Hickman) Smith on July 12, 1927, in North Platte, Nebraska.
He departed this life February 4, 2008, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 22 days.
Delbert was married to Eola Ivon Sisco on August 27, 1945, in Denver Colorado.
He served in U.S. Army during World War II and worked for Hudson Foods. After retirement, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Those preceding him in death are his parents, wife; Eola Smith, one granddaughter; Kimberly Dawn Smith, sister; Carolyn Rector and brother; Elmer Leroy Smith.
He leaves behind his children; Randy Smith of Westville, OK, Deletta and Charles Sasnett of Stilwell, OK, Darrell and Cheryl Smith of Westville, OK, Kenneth and Carrol Smith of Stilwell, OK, Thomas Eugene and P.J. Smith of Stilwell, OK, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one sister; Roberta Kincaid of Stilwell, OK, one brother; Melvin Eugene Smith of Fayetteville, AR, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Piney Cemetery with Bro. Mel Hollinger officiating.
Burial was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
