William Lewis "Bill" Lofton
May 17, 1924-November 25, 2008
William Lewis "Bill" Lofton, son of Zach and Susan (Smith) Lofton was born May 17, 1924 in Mabelle, Texas and departed this life to be with our Lord on November 25, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 8 days.
Bill served his country proudly during World War II in the United States Navy.
He owned and operated Lofton's Feed Warehouse for many years. He also worked for Indian Capital Vo-Tech in Stilwell for 13 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; Zach and Susan Lofton, 2 wives; Leora Armstrong Lofton and Priscilla Walker Ritchie Lofton, 1 daughter; Judy Lofton, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 2 infant siblings.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes 1 son; Jim Lofton and wife Loretta of Stilwell, OK, 2 daughters; Nancy Jordan and husband Charles of Westville, OK, Rebecca Fourkiller of Stilwell, OK, 6 grandchildren; Sarah Law and husband Adrian of Omaha, NB, Jonathan Hensley and wife Becky of Stilwell, OK, Steven Hensley and wife Jennie, Brian Jordan and wife Marla, Mark Jordan and wife Mandi all of Tahlequah, OK, Bonnie Jordan of Westville, OK, 8 great grandchildren, and a special companion; Mary Winchester. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
Graveside services were held, Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery with Bro. Terry Hall officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
