Martha Levona Clark, 90, of Parsons, KS, a former longtime resident of Stilwell, Oklahoma, died at 8:03 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Elmhaven West Nursing Home in Parsons, Kansas
Martha was born on May 13, 1915, to the parents of Clarence and Mary (Campbell) Patterson in Adair County, Stilwell, Oklahoma.
She grew up and lived on a farm in Stilwell until 1998. Martha worked at the Stilwell Canning Company for several years and retired from Campbell Soup Company at Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1980.
She was very devoted to her family, church and friends. She enjoyed and delighted in her children and grandchildren.
Martha was always busy with her garden, canning, flowers, and she made many beautiful hand-made quilts.
She rejoiced with gospel singing and church services. She was a member of the Ewing Chapel Free Holiness Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
She was married to Kenneth Clark on May 17, 1933, at Stilwell, Oklahoma. Into this union were born three children, Mary Loveta, Darrell Elmer and Eunice Bernice.
Martha was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Loveta, her parents Clarence and Mary Patterson, her husband, Kenneth, one sister Edna Benham, two brothers, L.D. and Chester Patterson all of Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her son Darrell Clark and his wife Donna of Neosho, MO., her daughter: Eunice Eisenbrandt and her husband Daniel of Parsons, Kansas. Six grandchildren, Darla Stanley and her husband Scott of Carthage, MO, Donald Clark and his wife Susan of Neosho, MO, Kenneth George of Casper, WY, Kimberly George of Newton, KS, Kristen Walker and her husband J.D. of Oswego, KS, Daniel Eisenbrandt III and his wife Lisa of Oswego, KS.
Eleven great-grandchildren, one sister Lucille Kimble of Stilwell, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives, friends, and assistant care provider and special friend Pat Heiskelll of Parsons, KS.
The services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2006 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Home in Stilwell, Oklahoma with the Reverend Shorty Doyle and Reverend Bobby Cothren
