Rickey Don Davidson, 56, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died August 16, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born January 28, 1953 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, he was the son of Gene Gatewood and Betty Phillips Gatewood.
He was a lifelong resident of Northeast Oklahoma and was a Farm Manager for Peterson Farms. He married Roxanne Ashley on December 16, 2001.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Gatewood. Survivors include his wife Roxanne of the home; two sons, Ricky Davidson of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and Kelly Ashley of Tucson, Arizona; four daughters, Lori Ashley and Ginger Vance, both of Colcord, Oklahoma, Sonja Wahus of River Falls, Wisconsin, and Amanda Johnson of Rogers, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; his father, Gene Gatewood of Stilwell, Oklahoma; and one sister, Wilma Eberley of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Phillips Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma, with Jason Richie officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
